Age Policy

Intended audience

Alterenn is a narrative service open to persons aged 15 or over. Registration and use of the Service by anyone under 15 is formally prohibited.

Mature 18+ content (adult scenes, explicit sexuality) is, in turn, strictly reserved for adult users (18 or over) who have validated a dedicated age verification.

Verification at signup

When creating an account, the user must expressly confirm being at least 15 years old and provide their date of birth in their settings. Any false declaration results in immediate termination of the account without refund, in accordance with our Terms of Service.

Mature 18+ content

Adult content (Mature 18+) is disabled by default and invisible to underage users (15-17). To access it, the user must:

• Be signed in on an account whose declared date of birth corresponds to 18 or older.
• Explicitly enable the "Mature 18" toggle in their settings after an age confirmation step.
• Have validated the built-in age verification mechanism (reinforced sworn declaration and, where required by local law, additional verification).

Adult content framework

All Mature 18+ content available on Alterenn must strictly comply with the Acceptable Use Policy. In particular, no character represented or sexually suggested may be a minor, under any narrative pretext, even on a verified adult account.

Protection of minors (under 15)

If you are a parent or guardian and suspect that a person under 15 under your responsibility is using Alterenn, contact us immediately at alterenn.contact@gmail.com: we will delete the account and all associated data unconditionally.

For users aged 15-17, we strongly recommend the use of parental control tools at the operating system and browser level, along with a dialogue about the use of narrative platforms.

Reporting

Any indication that a person under 15 is using Alterenn, that an underage account is accessing Mature 18+, or that content breaches the Acceptable Use Policy can be reported via the built-in button or to alterenn.contact@gmail.com. Reports are handled with the highest priority.

Evolution

This policy may evolve depending on local legal obligations (notably the Online Safety Act, the EU DSA, or any equivalent legislation). Users will be informed of any substantial modification.
