Acceptable Use Policy

The spirit of Alterenn

Alterenn is an interactive writing and narrative roleplay platform. We actively protect creative freedom while firmly forbidding illegal or harmful content. This policy lists what is never tolerated, regardless of fictional framing.

Absolute prohibitions — zero tolerance

Any content, message, Entity, Lore or roleplay falling within the following categories results in immediate removal, permanent ban, and report to the competent authorities when required by law:

• Any depiction, suggestion or simulation of sexual activity involving minors (real or fictional under 18), including descriptions, generated images, avatars, scenarios — no narrative exception applies.
• Sexualization of characters presented as minors, even when described elsewhere as "adult-looking" or "centuries old".
• Incest involving minors or framed as IRL abuse.
• Realistic rape, sexual coercion or non-consent glorified, presented as desirable or not condemned by the narrative.
• Bestiality (sexuality with real animals).
• Realistic necrophilia.
• Endorsement of terrorism, genocide, racial, religious, ethnic or gender hatred.
• Endorsement of IRL violence (encouragement to suicide, glorified self-harm, targeted harassment of a real person).
• Doxxing, disclosure of personal data of a third party, identity impersonation of a non-consenting real person.
• Illegal trafficking, manufacturing or sale (drugs, weapons, human beings).
• CSAM, NCII (revenge porn) or any content illegal under French or European law.

Mature 18+ content framework

Alterenn allows the creation and consumption of adult narrative content (Mature 18+) strictly between consenting fictional adults, under the following conditions:

• "Mature 18" toggle disabled by default, accessible only after age verification (see Age Policy).
• All characters represented or sexually suggested must be adults (Mature 18).
• Non-consent, when explored narratively, must be treated as drama, never glorified or eroticized as such.
• No realistic depiction of minors, even in the background.

General community rules

• Respect for other users: no harassment, targeted insults, discrimination.
• No spam, mass scraping, automated extraction of the database.
• No reselling, leasing or sharing of accounts or paid content.
• No use of the Service to train competing third-party models.
• No circumvention of technical limits, moderation filters or age verification.

Moderation

Moderation combines automated systems (text analysis, image analysis, signal detection) and human review by our team. Any user can report content via the report button available on every Entity, conversation and profile.

Graduated sanctions: warning, content removal, temporary suspension, permanent ban. "Zero tolerance" violations result in an immediate ban with no warning.

Cooperation with authorities

Upon legal request from a competent authority, Alterenn fully cooperates and transmits the requested elements in accordance with applicable law. Content involving the exploitation of minors is proactively reported to the appropriate organizations (Pharos in France, NCMEC where applicable).

Right of removal

Alterenn reserves the right, at any time and without notice, to remove any content, suspend any account or refuse the Service, at its sole discretion, without obligation to provide a detailed explanation beyond reference to this policy.
