Alterenn is a collaborative, AI-assisted fiction platform. Every user writes, shapes characters (Entities), builds persistent worlds (Lores) and grows interactive stories over time.
Our vision
Alterenn is not a chat app or an AI companion. It is an interactive writing tool, designed for authors, roleplayers and readers who want to build and explore living fiction. The AI is a narrative partner: it helps embody characters, keep a world coherent and move a story forward — not replace the author.
An independent project
Alterenn is an independent project, run by its founder as a registered French micro-enterprise. No studio, no investors, no hidden team behind the name: the work of a single author-developer, carried out seriously and over time.
This choice commits us to staying close to the community, shipping transparent updates and owning every editorial decision. The legal structure, mentions and tax obligations are public on the Terms and Privacy pages.
Collaborative writing
Create Entities with their own voice, backstory and secrets. Co-write scenes, dialogue and narrative arcs with them.
Persistent worlds
Lores keep places, institutions, factions and rules of a world. Stories take place there and enrich them.
Author community
Public library of community-created Entities, creator profiles, follows, reads and personal libraries.

An XP system, tiers and rewards that follow the evolution of your stories and your author journey.
Fiction, not reality
All content on Alterenn is fictional. Entities are characters of fictional works, created by their authors.
Clear framework
Explicit charter, content moderation, maturity-level classification, mature content reserved for verified adults.
Editorial framework & content
Alterenn hosts works of fiction written by its community. Characters, worlds and scenarios are entirely fictional and do not represent real people or real situations.
Part of the catalog is classified "Mature 18" (reserved for verified adult users). This classification is optional, off by default, framed by an explicit charter and by an automated + human moderation system.
Every character depicted is a fictional adult, whether created by the community or part of Alterenn's editorial catalog. Any content involving minors, non-consenting real persons or illegal acts is strictly forbidden and moderated.
How it works

- 3. Attach a Lore — a persistent universe that frames the story coherently.
- 4. Write — the AI embodies the Entity, you write the Incarnation, the story advances and remembers.
